Simon
Vetter

Sustainable farmer and entrepreneur

Head and heart of the Vetterhof, concocts new things almost daily and is constantly busy improving what already exists.

Simon Vetter completed a degree in soil culture in Vienna and trained as a farmer. Since 2016, he manages the Vetterhof with 20 employees in Lustenau. Moved by the need for everyday work, he developed a software for the direct sale of food, which he now sells to interested parties.

International exchange is a major concern for him: in addition to a stay abroad in Sierra Leone/West Africa, he is a member of the EU project Farmers of the Future. Simon Vetter has also been active in regional development for several years and was awarded the Austrian Climate Protection Prize in 2017.
