Matthias Ehrhardt is a professor and entrepreneur in the field of learning and talent development. He is the founder and director of the AUTORIS Institute, a leadership and talent development think tank and boutique with offices in Boston and Munich.

He runs talent development programmes worldwide. He has worked with start-ups, VC and private equity firms, family businesses, NGOs and global corporations (e.g. Microsoft, MunichRe, Samsung Next, DAIMLER, KPMG, etc.).

In addition, Matthias Ehrhardt has extensive experience in building, investing, restructuring and growing companies in various industries such as media, education, manufacturing and high-tech. Today, much of his entrepreneurial work focuses on how talent development can be adapted, applied and sustained through new technologies.

Matthias Ehrhardt has written several books and numerous articles for well-known newspapers and magazines. His publications include "Stories are Bridges From One Mind To Another" (Columbia Coaching Conference 2016), the "ABC of Storytelling" (2017), a model for the use of narrative theory in executive coaching, which he presented as part of the CoachX series of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School, and most recently "The Designing Talent Handbook" (2022).
