Philosophy of life        

Reflects on and works on philosophical topics and terms for today's Lebenswelt.

Dr. Ina Schmidt, born 1973, studied applied cultural sciences at the University of Lüneburg, research and teaching at the Institute for Philosophy as well as a doctorate on the influence of the philosophy of life on the thinking of the early Martin Heidegger in 2004.

2005 founding of the denkraeume, an initiative to convey philosophical practice, in which philosophical topics and terms for today's world are reflected and worked on in lectures, workshops and seminars. Since 2010 author of various philosophical non-fiction books for adults and children, most recently published « So Many Questions for the World », published by Carlsen Verlag (2020) and « The Power of Responsibility. About an attitude with a future » in Edition Körber (2021).

Ina Schmidt is a member of the International Society for Philosophical Practice, speaker of the expert network of the Liechtenstein Academy, part of the ideas council at the Center for Social Progress in Frankfurt and lecturer at the professional school at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg. She also works as a speaker for various educational institutions, including the « Thought Flyer » project at the Hamburger Literaturhaus.

She is married, the mother of three children and lives with her family in Reinbek near Hamburg.
